My first tat was a dragon on my right thigh. I had to get it somewhere that wouldn't show and didn't want to get it on my chest or back. I got the dragon going through the numbers 451 and surrouned by flames to represent Farenhiet 451, Ray Bradbury's book about censorship. During the tattoo, the guy that did piercings at the shop came back and asked if a buddy could stop by and watch me getting tattooed because HE wanted to get one and wasn't sure. I said it was no problem and when HE showed up HE was four 19 year old girls. It was a little awkward sitting in the chair in my boxers with all the girls watching but other than that it went great.

I've all ready worked out several of the tattoos I want and I should be getting them fairly soon. First, I'm getting a derringer on the underside of my left arm or on my ribs. Then, I'm getting Sic Semper Tyrannis in much the same place as the derringer. I'm also planning on letting a friend do a portrait piece of Chesty Puller but I'm not certain where that one is going yet.
